Leaf Crowns

Whilst enjoying a lovely relaxing picnic, the girls were running round collecting various bits of found treasure, flower petals, twigs, our youngest seemed to like collecting piles of grass for some reason. We made a few daisy chains and made these pretty leaf crowns.
They're very simple to make, you just need quite a lot of leaves and some very thin twigs. Then you use the twigs to thread 2 leaves together until you have a line long enough to go around your head, then just pin the two end leaves together in a ring.
They look quite magical, we think they would work really well for a woodland party or nature party. You could premake a few to hand out, or let the children make them as a fun activity.
